YWCA
This cake was made especially for a YWCA Tribute Event held in Evansville. The design could work perfect for any occasion such as a bridal shower, birthday or any reason to celebrate. Imagine how it would look by changing the colors to match your occasion! Pastels for a bridal shower or even 'Happy Birthday' written on a layer of delicious cake. : )
A Curious Age
Here we have Ava's Birthday Cake to match her theme of Curious George! We chose to do yellow icing, but any colors of your party would work perfect.
Very Hungry...

This is a Very Hungry Caterpillar cake made just for Liam's Party.
What a neat idea for a young one's (or young at heart) birthday!

Fun with Numbers
You can have so much fun with these number cakes! Below are a few of the cakes I have made recently. There are plenty of ideas and of course colors to choose from to fit the birthday person. For First birthday parties, I recommend also having a separate cake for the little one to smash. These come in various sizes depending on what you want and how many servings you need. Contact me for more details!

Double the Fun
This three tiered cake was for a 2nd Birthday party for twins, Lexa and Louie. One side was princess themed for Lexa while the other side was decorated in St. Louis Cardinals for Louie! It's a perfect idea for a double party. This cake served approximately 108 people as there are double layers of cake for each tier.

Antiques
This cake was made for the opening of a new antique store in New Harmony, IN called Chic & Tiques. This antique trunk was very neat to decorate and get the "old" look to it.

Welcome Baby Brady
Barn Birthday

Remember that song as you were growing up? It was like a cheer... "Open up the barn door, Kick out the hay, We're the girls from the USA!" well, I don't know the rest, but it sure was cute, or at least it was when I was 5.... like forever ago.
This cake I did for a little girl who turned 5 and she wanted a barn cake. How cute is that! So the barn is also made out of cake which just made it even cuter, and the silo is made out of chocolate chip cookies. The bale of hay is a cupcake and the water, well its blue gel icing. So many neat ideas on this cake!

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea???

Spongebob cakes are very popular for birthday parties! This cake was for Evan's 3rd birthday and it was so much fun to make. The whole cake serves about 60 people. I must admit I was pretty nervous about the decorating. I was asked to make the cartoon people out of fondant.... not just run to Target and buy little plastic dudes ( That sounded much easier!) Once I started on the little guys -making them out of fondant wasn't that hard and they turned out really good!
Something Borrowed, Something Blue

This cutie of a cake was for a bridal shower a couple of weeks ago. The bridesmaid dresses were navy blue so of course we covered the cake in navy blue fondant, and then decorated with the same flowers that are being used in the wedding. The cake turned out great - and yes, the flowers were made out of fondant. I bet it tasted even better than it looked. It was chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling and strawberry cake with chocolate ganache and sliced strawberry filling. All I can say is YUM! I also have to admit, the flowers, even though they took forever to do, turned out simply beautiful! This cake was large enough to feed about 45 people. And, a special thanks to my sister Mary for helping me deliver it! My mom usually helps me out, but with her out of town and Mary in..... she got the honors. Thanks Mary!
